Dr. Karim brings advanced training in complex cardiovascular care, having completed his Internal Medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University, a General Cardiology fellowship at the University of Kentucky, and advanced subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Chicago. He specializes in complex and high-risk coronary interventions and performs endovascular procedures for peripheral artery disease (PAD). His expertise also includes cardiac CT and structural heart interventions. In addition to clinical excellence, Dr. Karim has contributed to developing cardiogenic shock programs, served as a national speaker for Johnson & Johnson, and participated as international faculty at cardiology conferences in the Middle East. His dedication to expanding access to cardiovascular care extends globally through his involvement in medical relief efforts.
